Description: The work performed involved Construction Management and Supervision, Quality Control and Inspections of demolition of the existing ceiling grid, selected A/C ductwork, wall covering, preparation for new finishes, removal of old raised flooring and replaced with new. IMR furnished and Supervised the install of new wall board and new finishes to specifications, furnished and Supervised the install of new ceiling grid to create new and non-existant HOT AND COLD aisles. Supervised the install of new Liebert 8 Ton A/C unit and tie-in to new and existing ductwork above the ceiling and below the raised computer flooring. We Supervised the installation of 16 each energy efficient light (T-5) fixtures to the new grid and reinstall of all sprinkler piping, smoke detectors, thermostats and monitoring cameras. This project presented several challenges in that the Data Center only operates from 7 am - 3:30 pm which meant we had to start early and end early, we were only allowed to work on week days and we had to be escorted in and out by an authorized person; security was extremely tight. Throughout the renovation, this center remained FULLY operational in a very confined work area and dust-free environment. This Data Center supports the South East Region. .
